Ditching their everyday styles in favour of a Game of Thrones-style makeover – complete with flowing tresses and defiant stares – Coleen Rooney and Nadine Coyle channel their inner warrior and unite with women nationwide to take on Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life.

“I am so thrilled to be supporting Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life. Regardless of your age or how fit you are, everyone can take part or sponsor someone. The money raised is vital to help beat this horrible disease. So gather your girls, sign up, and let’s beat cancer sooner.” – Coleen Rooney

28-year-old fashion designer Coleen and 29-year-old singer Nadine worked their new looks for the cameras, demonstrating their fighting spirit in the face of cancer.

The twosome are encouraging women from across the UK, regardless of their age, shape or fitness level, to gather their friends and family and join the female-only event, to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

Coleen said: “I am so thrilled to be supporting Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life. Regardless of your age or how fit you are, everyone can take part or sponsor someone. The money raised is vital to help beat this horrible disease. So gather your girls, sign up, and let’s beat cancer sooner.”

Nadine added: “I am incredibly proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life this year. Cancer has affected too many loved ones and it’s time to fight back. Everyone who runs, walks or sponsors someone at Race for Life events this summer will make a huge difference in the fight against cancer. Please encourage all your friends and family to take part, cheer you on or sponsor you. Let’s show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink!”

Cancer Research UK is urging all women to stand with Coleen and Nadine and join the pink army by signing up to take part in the Race for Life, in partnership with Tesco. All funds raised will go towards beating over 200 different types of cancer.

Women can take part in 5K, 10K and Pretty Muddy events, with over 300 events taking place nationwide this summer.
