George is a health media officer at Cancer Research UK. He studied journalism at the University of Sheffield, before working in the university’s media team writing about research from their Faculty of Science. He joined the health media team in May 2023, covering research ranging from cancer treatments and waiting times, to risk factors like smoking and obesity.
