Better late than never, in this month’s podcast we head North to find out about a new ‘virtual’  cancer centre in Newcastle, aiming to bring benefits for cancer patients in the area.

Although seriously mismatched in height, Kat tackles former England rugby star Lawrence Dallaglio to ask about his latest charity venture – a glamorous ball in November aiming to raise money to fund Cancer Research UK clinical fellows across the UK.

Plus, we head through the keyhole, to reveal a new trial for bowel cancer surgery that can have people up and about just a couple of days after their operation.  And finally, we find out whether vegetarians are less likely to get cancer than meat-eaters.
