Looking forward to the NCRI Cancer Conference 2009

As we turn the corner into Autumn, the thoughts of cancer researchers turn not to conkers and dashing through falling leaves, but to the annual NCRI Cancer Conference. The conference runs from the 4th-7th October at the ICC in Birmingham, and we’ll be bringing you reports, videos and audio of all the latest news here on the blog.

To whet your appetite for the conference, here’s a short interview with NCRI Chair Professor Sir Ken Calman.  He talks about why it’s such an important date in the cancer research calendar, and the sessions he’s particularly looking forward to.
