Alexandra Burke designs bespoke 2011 t-shirt for Race for Life

X Factor winner and British pop superstar Alexandra Burke has designed this year’s exclusive Tesco and Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life celebrity t-shirt 2011. The bespoke vest top, which will raise money for Cancer Research UK’s work, has been given a touch of Alexandra’s signature slick urban style.

Inspired by Race for Life and the millions of amazing women who have taken part and raised an incredible £362 million since the series began, Alexandra was thrilled to be given the opportunity this year to put her own personal stamp on a stylish vest top for the 2011 series.

This year’s white vest top takes its style influence from the inner city streets, referencing hip-hop and r ‘n’b style with a feminine twist. It features a bold and urban graphic style print of a high-top trainer in hot pink against a grainy backdrop of smaller trainer designs and various designs of stereo speakers. The vest top is finished off with the personal touch of Alexandra’s signature in the corner in hot pink. This stunning and contemporary vest top is a must-have for any discerning fashionista’s wardrobe and represents the strong spirit and energy of Race for Life.
