On Saturday 5th December, more than 500 guests joined Ronan and Storm Keating for the 10th annual star-studded Emeralds & Ivy Ball, which raised more than £1million for Cancer Research UK and the Marie Keating Foundation.

“It’s fantastic that so many amazing people have been able to come this evening and I’m incredibly grateful for their generous donations to Cancer Research UK and The Marie Keating Foundation.”Ronan Keating

Guests at the prestigious fundraising event including Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, enjoyed a night of world-class entertainment and fine dining at Supernova, Embankment Gardens. The black tie evening was hosted by Rachel Riley and saw performances from Anastacia, Stacey Solomon, Nadine Coyle, The Shires, Izzy Bizu, Jamie Raven as well as Ronan himself. Guests were also invited to bid on money-can’t–buy prizes with all donations going toward the ongoing fight against cancer.

Since the event began in 2006, more than £7million has now been raised for Cancer Research UK and The Marie Keating Foundation. The funds have been used to support two mobile Cancer Awareness Roadshow Units, staffed by specialist nurses and advisors who talk to the public about potentially life-saving steps to reduce the risk of cancer, the importance of early diagnosis and signpost people to local services.

Ronan Keating said: “It’s fantastic that so many amazing people have been able to come this evening and I’m incredibly grateful for their generous donations to Cancer Research UK and The Marie Keating Foundation.

“This is the 10th Emeralds & Ivy Ball and every year I am so proud of all of the support that’s given. The devastation of cancer touches too many people’s lives, which is why it’s important to do all that we can to beat it.”

The ball is supported by Platinum Sponsors Miroma Ventures and Outdoor Plus.
