Karis studied Zoology at the University of Reading then completed a master’s in Human Nutrition at the University of Surrey. She worked as a nutritionist before joining Cancer Research UK’s health information team in 2018. Karis endeavours to break down barriers and stigma through inclusive information about cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
