This month we bring you news from the National Cancer Research Institute conference in Liverpool – the UK’s biggest cancer conference showcasing the latest research from the UK and around the world.

We discover how advice on diet and weight could help bowel cancer patients, and hear about new research revealing that a man’s lifestyle affects the chances of suffering side effects from prostate cancer treatment.

And we listen in on a discussion at the conference between two top cancer doctors, Professor Paddy Johnston from Queen’s University Belfast and Dr Murray Brennan from the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, as they discuss the big issues in cancer care on both sides of the Atlantic.
