In response to Government requirements for all companies with over 250 employees to publish their gender pay gap data, Cancer Research UK today published its gender pay report: https://www.cancerresearchuk.orghttps://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-us/our-organisation/equality-dive…

Sir Harpal Kumar, CEO of Cancer Research UK said “Our gender pay gap is mainly driven by only having 68% of women in more senior roles, compared with 77% across the charity as a whole, and by having a disproportionate number of women in lower paid roles in our shops. Although we have recently seen a tangible shift in women at the most senior levels, this doesn’t go far enough yet. We clearly aren’t where we want to be and are committed to closing the gap.

“We have put in place a number of initiatives to support women to progress their careers in all areas of the charity. Having a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can reach their full potential is critical to our success.”
